I've been trying to play with MySQLGUI lately (running the win32 version of the GUI, Linux version of the server). I can connect fine. Run queries fine. But, when I try to do any grants on a database or edit a table, the client connects to the server as many times as it can (before the server runs out of connections available) and hangs until I forcibly kill it. Does anyone know why that would happen??
