Hi,
I just installed MYSQL verion 3.23.44-max version. I verified the default
database tables under tool WinMySQLAdmin and I could see all tables and
fields of default databases.
As per security advice, I removed the default user with command
"DELETE FROM USER WHERE HOST="localhost" and user='';
After this command, I could not see the database and tavle details in
WinMySQLAdmin.
When I use command "mysqladmin reload" I get message Access denied for user
@localhost.
Any help is appreciated. I created a root user and password, then I could
access databases. My problem is not solved by this. I need to eliminate the
default user from the system..
