SORRY IF YOU DON'T RECEIVE THIS BUG REPORT IN THE FORMAT YOU ARE EXPECTING
BUT I'VE BEEN TRYING TO USE scripts/mysqlbug 2 TIMES WITHOUT SUCCESS
(every time I quit Emacs, the mysqlbug script complains something is wrong
in the way I've filled the form and when I press 'e' to edit again, nothing
appends and I loose everything. After having filled the form and loosed
everything 2 times, I decided to send you directly the file that Emacs
saved in /tmp).

./configure of mysql-3.23.46 fails with gcc-3.0.3
>How-To-Repeat:
1) Install Linux Mandrake 8.1 on a AMD Duron 850 MHz PC
with 128 MB of RAM.
2) Install gcc-3.0.3. Remove gcc-2.96.
3) Download mysql-3.23.46.tar.gz
4) tar zxvf mysql-3.23.46.tar.gz
5) cd mysql-3.23.46
6) ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/mysql
7) ./configure fails with the following message:
"checking return type of sprintf... configure: error: can not run test program
while cross compiling"

Use gcc-2.96 instead of gcc-3.0.3
