Hi

I amnot sure whether this is the appropriate list for my question.
If not i would be thankful for a pointer to the correct list.

I am using the Version 3.22.32 of the mysql client C API on a Solaris Sparc
Machine.
When i compile and link my application, it apparently needs
a shared object library libmysqlclient.so.6.0.0.

Question:
Is it possible to have all mysql libraries linked statically to an application?
(The reason is that i want to run my application as a cgi, but for
"security reasons" the webadmin is unwilling to set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH
for the www users).

Thank You
