Hello all forgive me for posting off topic (again - that's only two!)

I need to install the QT 2.2.2 client libraries on a Linux Mandrake 7.1
machine. I have created this app using Borland's delphi/kylix combo and
it runs fine on my LM 8.1 machine (it must have qt installed by default
maybe). But when I try and take the app to a LM 7.1 machine I get the
obscure error:

error in loading shared libraries: ./libqtintf.so: undefined symbol:
event__14QMultiLineEditP6QEvent

The app itself is a client program for MySQL (sort of).

I recently noticed that MySQL have released a MyCC app which used the qt
libraries which again makes me think that someone might be able to help.

I have tried Borland's news-server but to no avail. The people on this
list are always useful so I though I would give it a try. Having such a
big *nix user base [as MySQL does] I thought someone must be able to
help a bit.

So I need some way of installing qt 2.2.2 or above on a LM 7.1 machine
with NORMAL USER privileges. Can anyone tell me if this can be done,
and if so how?

Thanks lots
David Ayliffe
