Hi All, I'm trying to connect ms access to a mysql server that I installed on my Linux machine. I already downloaded the MyODBC 2.50 which is required to connect to mysql using ms access. My problem is when I try to connect the database in ms access to the mysql server I get the error "Host not allowed to connect to this MySQL Server". I've specified the right ip address, hostname, port, username and password but still same problem. Do I need to configure something in MySQL to allow a certain host to connect to it remotely? Can anyone help me with this one, I will surely appreciate it. Thanks
