Hi!
My name is Ricardo Castro and i'm writing for Ensenada, Mexico. My problem
installing MySQL is next:
I've unzipped MySQL (mysql-max-3.23.49-pc-linux-gnu-i686.tar.gz)in /usr/local/;
i've follow all the steps that the INSTALL-BINARY indicates; but i have the
problem that in the moment to want to run mysql, indicates me:
ERROR 2002: Can't connect to local MySQL server through
socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (111)
I've made
find / -name mysql.sock
And, surprise!!!!, there is no file anywhere!!!!.
When i run the steps, nothing indicates me a mistake or something like that
What is happened???.
