It's really impossible to discover that kind of info from looking at the e-mail addresses in this list. If anything, I'd expect to see a large number of ".com" which doesn't tell you anything since it doesn't have to be a USA-owned domain. Anyway, yes we did a user survey on the mysql.com website last year. Our largest market is in fact the USA, but for instance Germany is also very big. Japan has a fairly large following too but they have their own mailing list. So, we're pretty much spread all across the planet!
