Generally, when you're reporting problems to the list, it's not worthwhile
to report the gist.  Particularly when what you're reporting is erroneous
and doesn't actually have the slightest thing to do with the actual cause
of the problem.

When you do that, you waste the time and effort of people who are willing
to take the trouble to help you.
