Check this out. Sometimes I need to display dates to users. DATE_FORMAT is neato way to process DATE columns into more readable output (2002-03-12 for example, doesn't cut it for me), but it prints out the date in English.
On a site that is presented in 5 different languages, this is much less useful. Is there a way to switch to a particular language only for this function or only for a specific session? Just want to make sure I'm not duplicating any effort. sql, table, query -- Michael Bacarella | Netgraft Corporation | 545 Eighth Ave #401 Systems Analysis | New York, NY 10018 Technical Support | 212 946-1038 | 917 670-6982 Managed Services | [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- Before posting, please check: http://www.mysql.com/manual.php (the manual) http://lists.mysql.com/ (the list archive) To request this thread, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Trouble unsubscribing?
