i think the line that he shown to us was part of /etc/passwd file,
but should check it on /etc/shadow or /etc/master.passwd

user mysql on system is needed to run the mysql daemon with only user "mysql"
privileges, but for client connection, you should check your database "mysql" ... and
one of important table is "user"
