There are some possible causes of error:
- wrong configuration of my.cnf(my.ini) file
Rename my.ini(my.cnf) file and try to start again. If start was
successful, the problem is with with settings.
- problems with the \share directory or errmsg.sys files
- something wrong with grant tables...
Look in your mysql.err file - is there any error message?
