Downgrading glibc worked for me.
It was suggested that I upgrade the mysql package, but I think I will wait
for Red Hat's fix.

Sounds like you just got here? The updated version of glibc is causing a
conflict. You can either go back to the old version or wait for the fix
from RedHat. Info on this is on bugzilla.redhat.com.
