Hi,
due to an unfortunate error on my side the MySQL-3.23.53-Max binaries we just
released yesterday have not been compiled with InnoDB support.
If you want to run MySQL 3.23.xx with InnoDB databases, please stick with a
previous version for the time being or recompile with "--enable-innodb" from
the 3.23.53 source packages.
New binaries will be prepared ASAP and will appear as version
"MySQL-3.23.53a-Max" to be able to distinguish them from the faulty ones.
I apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused you - I will send
out a new announcement as soon as this mishap has been remedied.
