of course, you can get help here, but there is a 
free point and click query tool listed in the 
portals that may help you a lot.  it lets you 
quickly create queries by just pointing and 
clicking, and when you get what you want, it 
shows you the sql code.  

i can't name it because i'll get fussed at again, 
so look for a program that makes outlandish 
claims about querying everything from mainframes 
to spreadsheets including mysql.
