If it makes you feel better, your not the only one with this problem. I ran
into it as well and still have the problem from time to time. Any clues as
to why?

FYI:
I experience a memoryleak with winmysqladmin.exe on win2000 with the latest
updates.
Sometimes i shutdown the server through the trayicon - after short time the
system runs out of memory. Killing the winmysqladmin.exe
process makes things work as normal again

i use mysql 3.23.53-max-nt
