Welcome to a brave, new world! The question is a little vague. May I suggest that you take a look at the manual's tutorial (Chap 3) where it quickly runs through the steps setting up a SQL database, and some elementary interactions. Perhaps your question is showing signs of a Microsoft and/or Access background. Many things are different under MySQL! If you are asking from an ODBC perspective, then recommend you follow through the advice in the pertinent documentation. If I've completely missed your point, please come back with a wider description of your intentions/needs, what you've tried, and which part is failing.
