Hello: I am using Windows 98. I have a machine with 512K memory and a 1.3meg processor.
I am trying to use MySQL Control center, version 0.8.7. It crashes when I try to connect to more than one user at the same time. Worse, it looks like I can only open one connection per session. If I open a connection and then close that connection and then try to open another connection, MySQL Control Center blows up. The crashes occur in the QT*.DLL. I tried using version 0.8.6. The same kind of crashes happen although they occur in the exe file itself. Do you have any idea what I can do to fix this? I tried using MySQLGUI. I was able to make that application blow up when I chose to look at the output of my queries in the text editor that comes with the application (alt-e). In fact, I also caused the application to crash in Kernal32 when I tried to load a file. I sent an email out to the suggested bug-reporting location for the application but have had no response at this writing. Any help you can give me in resolving one or both of these problems would be appreciated. Thanks.
