Hi all.
Hi spam filter. SQL. Query.

I'm writing some code in Access 2002 which builds an sql string and then saves it as a pass-through query.
I would like to be able to build in some new-line characters or something so that the query is nicely formatted so that when I (or my boss) goes back later to look at it / debug it, it doesn't look like crap.

I've tried using chr$(10), which is 'new-line' and chr$(13), which is 'carriage return' but in Access these show up as little boxes instead of new-lines, and MySQL complains about chr$(13) or whatever.

Does anyone know how to insert a new-line into my queries so they look pretty?

Thanks in advance!

Dan
Yeah I'm answering my own question...

You have to use the visual basic constant: vbCrLf
