Hi folks, I�m wondering what (in general) causes a join to use temporary tables and filesorts... More specifically, what can I tune to avoid it? I can give more info about a specific situation if anyone�s interested. All the docs say is that you are likely to get a �Using temporary� if you sort on a different column set than the �group by�, but I�m not doing that...something else must be triggering it...
