As a true novice starting out, can someone tell me which of the two would be best suited for a true newbie.... I found P. Dubois "MySQL" from New Riders when I was starting 3+ years ago. I still use it regularly and have found that compared to users with similar experience but different book background, I might know more about a particular feature within MySQL.
