Just installed the mysql binary. It runs fine. However the only way i can administrate it is if I use the root account which is fine. But when I try to Grant other users any privilages the following happens: My Query: Grant ALL on dbName.* to userName
Response: Query Ok, 0 rows affected. Therefore userName I am trying to give access to a certain dbName doesn't get the privilages assigned to him. I am using mysql4.
