Currently, I'm running 3.23.51 on Red Hat 7.1, and I'm contemplating upgrading to MySQL 4.0, but I'm not sure what to expect. I don't know if MySQL 4.0 is fully backwards-compatible with 3.23.x versions, or if something is going to break if I upgrade.
What are the main advantages of upgrading to 4.0? Speed? Features? I can go through the whole changelog if need be, but I'd prefer to hear what actual users are reporting as far as benefits and disadvantages. - Jonathan -- MySQL General Mailing List For list archives: http://lists.mysql.com/mysql To unsubscribe: http://lists.mysql.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]
