Hi, I'm in the same boat here, I only have InnodDB tables except for the mysql MyISAM tables. So in theory would a value of something like 8mb be sufficient for those ?

I'm not using MyISAM. Really? Unless I'm smoking crack, there used to be code in InnoDB that refused to convert the mysql.* tables to InnoDB. If that's changed, I'd love to know why. Besides, I really hate it when I lose $1000. Jeremy -- Jeremy D.
