i run the same configuration .

I have the following settings in my /etc/my.cnf file

innodb_log_archive=0
innodb_flush_log_at_trx_commit=0
#log-update     = /export/disk1/mysql/logs/snow

once you have the first set to 0, the other 2 may not matter.
