Good heavens!

It would have been much easier to make a telnet or ssh connection to the
computer, log in, and run the commands from there WITHOUT having to move
hardware :-)

Alternatively, you could have gone over to your .101 computer, opened the
mysql program there and connected to the server, and issued your commands.
