If find this question a little strange... afaik .NET is a development framework[1], while MySQL is of course a database server. The relation between the two is only indirect via some programming language: you can use a number of languages with .NET, and you can connect to and use any MySQL database using any of these languages. Both products definitely have a future, how long and how bright is a different question, one could check with the Oracle of Delphi...[2] ;) I don't know if this answers your question, as I may have understood it wrong. In general, if you ask a question and get no reply, you should take a critical look at your own question and perhaps try to formulate it differently. Just a friendly advise. :) [1] <URL: http://msdn.microsoft.com/netframework/ > [2] If you didn't get the subtle hint: I guess there will be some competition from <URL: http://www.oracle.com > and <URL: http://www.borland.com/delphi/ >. -- Roger -- MySQL General Mailing List For list archives: http://lists.mysql.com/mysql To unsubscribe: http://lists.mysql.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]
