Everyone, We're looking to get an HDS SAN solution (95xx series I believe) at my present employer, and our only remaining concern is the reliability of MySQL when used in conjunction with dynamic multipathing software (under Linux). We use 3.23.x mostly, some 4.0.x -- almost all our data is in InnoDB, but we also want to know about the reliability of MyISAM here as well.
Veritas claims their software is compatible with MySQL but we haven't been able to determine whether this includes InnoDB or not. Plus, Veritas is pricey. Hitachi's solution does not assert MySQL compatibility. I'm hoping that perhaps someone can clarify for me whether or not Veritas' DMP solution is safe with InnoDB, and tell me whether or not it is safe and/or wise to use Hitachi's DMP in conjunction with MySQL (particularly with InnoDB)? -JF -- MySQL General Mailing List For list archives: http://lists.mysql.com/mysql To unsubscribe: http://lists.mysql.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]
