Hi,

since I installed mysql server 4.0 i cannot start mysqld daemon. I go to
/usr/bin and execute mysqld, but i get the following message:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] bin]# safe_mysqld
Starting mysqld daemon with databases from /var/lib/mysql
040712 11:33:07 mysqld ended

How can i know what's the problem?

Thanks
