I have tried to compile mysql ver. 3.22.14b-gamma on our system Sun Solaris 2.7 (Ultra Enterprice) with gcc 2.8.1, but I'm not able to run configure script correctly. I run configure script with following options: ./configure --prefix=/opt/local/MySQL --datadir=/opt/MySQL-data but cofigure script always crasshed with error message: checking for restartable system calls... configure: error: can not run test program while cross compiling Can you please help me what can I do with compiling of MySQL?
