Thats odd. I wonder if you have a permissions problem on the recordings
directory.
Are you part of the mythtv group?
Where is your recording directory?
What are the permissions and ownership on the recording directory?

Mythbuntu 9.10 on combined front and backend AMD64 Sempron SATA 1 TB HDD new
install.
Delete from Myth menu options doesn't remove recording
Delete from Mythweb shows removal but on page refresh recording re-appears.
Delete from Playback End Menu causes Hard Lock
