As you've indicated that this is fixed in trunk, i'm going to mark this bug fix released.
The Mythbuntu team has builds of newer versions of MythTV available on a PPA if you are interested in upgrading. Please follow the directions at http://mythbuntu.org/auto-builds to enable them. Please do not let the closing of this ticket dissuade you from opening a new ticket if this (or any other) problem occurs with the newer versions. ** Changed in: mythtv (Ubuntu) Status: New => Fix Released -- Mythtv doesn't find all channels https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/451117 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Mythbuntu Bug Team, which is subscribed to mythtv in ubuntu. Status in “mythtv” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: Binary package hint: mythtv Hello I'm using Ubuntu karmic (development branch) (9.10). Since the switch to 0.22 I have problems with searching the channels. I am using a usb dvbt reciver from MSI (Digivox mini II (v3.0)) (15a4:9016). It is working great with the af9015 drivers which are included in the kernel (I even got the remote control working via a config file). When I'm using the 0.22 from official repos myth-setup is only finding 4 channels (channel 21) or none. 0.21 found all, me-tv also is working. I wasn't able to find any hints in dmesg, mythtv output and logs. So I decided yesterday to do a svn checkout (trunk 22423), compiled it, and used checkinstall (don't kill me ;) ) to get some kind of package. After instalation I just were able to find find the channels. Hope this gets fixed to the official release. I'l be able to test the same scenario with another usb dvbt reciver from another brand if needed. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~mythbuntu-bugs Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~mythbuntu-bugs More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
