Until upstream has resolved this (or unless someone else develops a
patch and submits it upstream), I understand the work-arounds to be:

* Fall back to 0.21 (available in the 9.04 repos), do the channel scanning 
there, then upgrade that database
-or-
* Enter channel info manually
-or-
* Use a service which provides lineups for your area (schedules direct or 
perhaps some other xml source)
