QA_manager: I see the other bug has the steps you took to reproduce this. Could you try varying those responses? For example, on step #2, use a simple password, and/or try not enabling VNC (to make sure that part of Bug 363153 hasn't reappeared)?
Also, could you try not doing step #1 and if it succeeds, add the service after the install completes?
