Sorry, I got caught up doing some stuff, and when I came back I thought
this bug was for a new firmware. After reading through again I see that
the firmware needs to be updated. I'm working on this now.

Binary package hint: linux-firmware-nonfree
The firmware that comes for af9015 is not the latest version and it has an
issue that blasts dmesg with this two error messages:
af9015: command failed:255
dvb-usb: error while querying for an remote control event.
The latest firmware version 0.95 solves this issue:
