Bob Shanteau mentioned that after changing the Playback Profile group, Edit Channel worked properly. Users wanting to test should probably try the Slim Playback Profile group. Or, try changing just the deinterlacer (from--my guess--bobdeint to something like linear or onefield) and see if that prevents the issue. someone else also wrote: Bug only happens if you have browse channels enabled. Channel being viewed still works but no other action is possible, having to kill the process. Mine is an Asus P3-P5G43 (Intel Core 2 Duo + GMA X4500 graphics) barebone.
