What's really needed is a *new* icon. Preferably of a television. After a new mythtv install, I usually create a desktop shortcut to MythTV Frontend and change the icon to: /usr/share/icons/Humanity/devices/48/display.svg

It's *there* but almost impossible to see because it's light font color blends in to the Karmic colors. On a personal note, I think an icon should be an icon, not a logo, and I didn't like Myth's even when I could see it on Jaunty.
