lirc_zilog is not in the LIRC tree as of 0.8.7~pre3. Fortunately
however, it is included in 2.6.36 staging which has been backported to
Ubuntu 10.10. You should have out of the box support for lirc_zilog in
Ubuntu 10.10.

The IR Blaster for the Hauppauge pvr-150 does not currently work out of the box
in ubuntu 9.10
The needed kernel module lirc_zilog is not built by default
After following message #28 in
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1294825&page=3 **and** removing the
remote control settings in hardware.conf everything works now
This is a very common card so i'm pretty sure many people are affected by this
I'm using lirc 0.8.6-0ubuntu2
i'll attach my working hardware.conf file for reference
