Status in “mythtv” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Binary package hint: mythtv Fresh install of Mythbuntu 10.10 final release from bootable thumb drive. Modified frontend setup for 1600x800 GUi screen with +60, +60 px offsets, deselected "use same screen for video as GUI" (to keep fullscreen video), kept other video / playback defaults. After configuring backend with HDHomeRun tuner, SchedulesDirect US (local broadcast channels), connecting each HDHomeRun channel to SchedulesDirect source, and running mythfilldatabase. Enabled apport, rebooted. Tuned to channel 2_1: OK. Tuned to channel 8_1 (both channels are HD), frrontend crashed. This is very repeatable for channel 8_1 and 32_1. Will try vdpau and other playback setups to see if anything different happens.
