I have a Hauppauge 350 remote and a homebrew-type serial IR receiver
from irblaster.info. Every button press is repeated regardless of
repeat and delay settings in .lircrc ($HOME/.lirc/mythtv) or repeat and
suppress_repeat in lircd.conf
(/usr/share/lirc/extras/more_remotes/hauppauge/lircd.conf.hauppauge).
If I set suppress_repeat in lircd.conf, then no button presses are
registered. I don't know where exactly to file this bug, so I'm
starting here. I also have sent an email to lirc-list, but have yet to
get a response.
Software versions:
Distribution: Ubuntu 10.10 (mythbuntu)
Linux kernel: 2.6.35
lirc: 0.8.7
