9.10 hangs during boot around X login
Status in Mythbuntu, Ubuntu derivative focused upon MythTV:

Bug description:
After an apt upgrade to my 9.10 RC version my system started to hang
around xorg login. I can use ssh sessions up until the hang.
Tried a fresh install of 9.10 release with the same symptoms. So it
seems my system doesn't like some change made between RC and release.
