You're welcome Jens. What happens when you boot your machine. Do you just get mythfrontend with a visible top banner or do you also get a pop up saying an internal error has happened with Ubuntu?

Historically, this has been an issue with Compiz (fixable by enabling the compiz legacy window mode).
