exactly the same problem - Kaffeine works fine, Mythtv does not with the same PAT issues.

This tuner has worked perfectly up to upgrade to 14.04.1 yesterday. The tuner initializes fine (relevant dmesg below). After a reboot I get channel lock about one time. When I change channel I get the message "You should have received channel lock by now". Signal strength is 42%, S/N is 2,4 db and is also says (TL_s) Partial Lock.
