This is now solved as of Version: 2:0.27.4+fixes.20150514.6b73976-0ubuntu0mythbuntu4. My mythtv upgraded without a problem. Thanks to Thomas for your help.

I download the mythtv deb package 2. unpack the mythtv deb package 3. edit the file "control" and replace "mysql-server" with "mysql-server | mysql-server-5.6" 4. repack the package and install Request: Have mythtv package look for mysql-server or mysql-server-5.6 as a dependency Mysql-server-5.6 has been faster and more stable (no memory leakage) than 5.5 for me.
