The correct kernel modual loads: lirc_mceusb lircd loads ok The IR tray icon shows 3 mce remotes when I only have one. I've tried using the tray icon to configure all the remotes but when I try to use the remote with an application such as vlc nothing happens I tried testing the remote with irw but when I press buttons nothing is output to the terminal. I had this remote working with Kubuntu 10.4 after having added the device id (Bus 007 Device 002: ID 0609:0338 SMK Manufacturing, Inc.) in the drive source and recompiling.
