It's possible to reliably reproduce this bug by setting the time in the
waiting_for_playlists_timer to a small value so it looks like you are
correct.
It would probably be cleaner to change the
waiting_for_playlists_timer->start() call in the constructor to be a
single shot timer and restart the timer just before exiting from
checkForPlaylist() that way it is impossible for the timer to fire while
in checkForPlaylists().
