Didn't you look at the patch? Very first thing is:

Oops, heh :-) I stripped all that stuff out but then I updated my tree and regen'ed the diff... guess I forgot to strip it out the second time.
Anyway, this is on hold until I figure out the Right Way for these red-headed step-children of QKeyEvents to be handled.
