Hello!

Few weeks ago I posted a question in mythtv-users, about Mythtv and Leadtek TV2000XP Expert card incompatibility issues. You could see it from there:
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/mythtv/users/95494?do=post_view_threaded

The main issue was that tvtime and xawtv worked fine, but not mythtv. mythbackend gave endless error:
VIDIOCMCAPTURE0: Invalid argument
VIDIOCMCAPTURE1: Invalid argument
Thanks to Marc Fielding and Martin Forssen who pointed out the NuppelVideo issue:
http://cvs.mythtv.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/mythtv/libs/libmythtv/NuppelVideoRecorder.cpp?r1=text&tr1=1.178&r2=text&tr2=1.179&makepatch=1&diff_format=u
and
"remove line 875 'using_v4l2 = false' of libs/libmythtv/NuppelVideoRecorder.cpp"
using these I managed to get livetv in mythtv and also recording works.

But still remains problems, no audio from tv in mythtv and channel change still not working. From audio side, might it be that if using FC3 and alsa and compiling myth with OSS it just won't enable audio? And when changeing channels, it just changes picture settings (hue, color, contrast, etc) and osd text, but not the channel itself! It sees like mythtv couldn't initialize tv card properly, because if starting mythtv from cold booted computer, it gives only gray picture from livetv. But if I run before mythbackend tvtime or xawtv, mythtv shows livetv from previously chosen channel with tvtime / xawtv. So, as I could notice, unfortunately mythtv couldn't manage my tv card properly (or lets say, at all), although it works fine with other apps in linux. Has anybody any solution to provide?

rgds,
Liivo.
