metaio is on hold until a vacation and getting over catching up with
work...won't happen for the next couple of weeks. I'm in no rush to get
it into CVS, but if someone wants to commit it without metaio, or do the
metaio work (I haven't started yet) then feel free. If you do start on
the metaio work, let me know so we don't duplicate efforts.
