The problem is that new channels get added (or sometimes re-added, as Endaf Jones mentions) every few days, so I have to keep going back to Zap2It to update the list. By that time, mythfill has already grabbed the listings, so I'm stuck with needless channels for 12 days (or I have to go back into Myth's setup to hide them.)
Apparently this comes up at zap2it frequently enough that they asked it on their last subscription renewal survey. I answered with "don't automatically add new channels to my lineup". Hopefully zap2it will take this to heart and change this, or at least make it configurable.
I have the same issue with my Directv lineup. Except that when I uncheck a channel I don't want it stays unchecked. I haven't experienced what the earlier poster reported about unchecking channels and them coming back.
